We have Doom 64 EX, Doom 64 Absolution TC, GZDoom64, and Brutal Doom 64. Think of this mod as being an enhanced version of Doom 64 for GZDoom. The goal of the project is be mostly accurate to the original game as well as add very minor improvements for that extra bit of polish. That is takes someone else's guides, pastes them on his website, stripping it from links and only leaving "thanks to", as if that solved anything. This project is a fan recreation of Doom 64 for the Nintendo 64 to the GZDoom engine. If I am honest, I am not enjoying some ass taking screenshots from my guide, copy pasting like half of my guide and then earning money from ads on his website (at least according to Privacy Policy), while stripping the guide of references to PCGW.īut apparently that's all that this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does. If you're familiar with ZDoom Launcher (ZDL) it works too! Let me know if this isnt clear or have other issues running wads. That means that version 2.0 is no longer identical to the N64 version and instead is based upon the wad we get from the steam version making it legal to use if you own the steam version. Then the next time you load Doom 64 you should be good to go! This one replaces the first level when you start a new game. Instead of the previous version converting it to the N64 wad I have now used SLATE to manually patch the Steam WAD file to be compatible with Doom 64 EX. Replace the location I have for the WAD to wherever you placed your's. 11:36am Just found a way to access Map34: Plant Ops which is the first Lost Level. Maybe this is a bug in the Doom 64 EX version. file "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Doom 64\jdagenet_wretched.wad" I wonder how to activate the Lost Levels as they are said to be included in the Steam wad. Then in the launch options add the parameter. doom64.wad is an IWAD for UNKNOWN featuring 33 maps (Staging Area, The Terraformer, Main Engineering, Holding Area, Tech Center, and more) MAP01, MAP02, MAP03, MAP04, MAP05, MAP06, MAP07, MAP08, MAP09, MAP10, MAP11, MAP12, MAP13, MAP14, MAP15, MAP16, MAP17, MAP18, MAP19, MAP20, MAP21, MAP22, MAP23, MAP24, MAP25, MAP26, MAP27, MAP28, MAP29, MAP30, MAP31, MAP32, MAP33. To run a WAD manually go to the launch options for Doom 64, which is show in this page: Which WAD are you trying to run? This one? (only certain wads are compatible) Originally posted by humavo:I cannot run other WADs throu Steam Doom 64 !!
